Environment takes action on synthetic greenhouse gas offenders

Pioneers and Innovator of Blast bag technology, PR Polymers purposely chooses “not to manufacture” HFC-134a, or blends of HFC blast bags in support of the phase down of synthetic greenhouse gases.

It’s very important to understand that every single kilogram of HFC-134a gas released into the atmosphere has the equivalent greenhouse effect of over 1430 kgs of CO2 – and this synthetic gas persists in the troposphere for up to 14 years!

PR Polymers encourages every user to be aware and say no to synthetic greenhouse based Blast Bags.

We understand synthetic greenhouse gases are used in more commonly known products such as fridges and air conditioners, however the deliberate unlicensed release and exposure is much more common in blast bags when piercing the bags in a well ventilated area.

It’s only a matter of time before large fines apply in our Industry and like global warming our plight is to protect.
